After a bit of a long night for SJ and Ryan we had a kind of lazy morning. Stephen seems to be scared if we aren't laying on the floor next to his pack-n-play. John on the other hand remembers being here, knows where his room is and just can't wait to see his "cuzzies!!" -- he has been a good sleeper! :)
It has been a few days since we have been to the gym, so I called the local (Scottsdale) Lifetime, just to make sure it was no higher then a gold level gym. WRONG! It is a Onyx! Yikes. I asked (very kindly) if we could use their gym while we are visiting AZ. The lady, Lisa to be exact, said that usually they never let people do this, but she said she would let me. This is when I needed to explain that I have a husband and 2 kids that needed the OK too. .... she put notes in our files that will let us use their gym for the remainder of our trip.... I never did tell her when we are leaving....
I guess that is is $15/person every time you use their gym AND you can only stay for 2 hours! HA We maxed that out today! :)
We swam in their water park- SUPER fun! John and Stephen are little fish! John is jumping off the side of the pool (0 depth....) into about 2 feet of water- alone! And SJ has been "crawling" around in the pool. He has no fear and just laughs the entire time. John wasn't a fan of the mushroom water sprayer, and SJ wasn't until we had him under it.
We showerd the kids and sent them to the play area.... WOW-ZA! It was soooo cool! They had rooms after rooms of things to do.... computer/media room, toy rooms, a basketball court for kids, a huge indoor play-structure (think Eagles Nest, only bigger!) and more. Ryan and I did a quick work out, sauna and then showerd and got the kiddies.
We stopped at Whole Foods on the way home to get dinner supplies. Ate, and then had a Christmas dance party!! :) SJ was a rockin' baby! He has quite the moves... Ryan and I can't figure out where they came from, but hey- we will take 'em! ;)
We watched Polar Express and ate popcorn while snuggling on the couch.
Then Ryan put SJ to bed and John and I baked cookies from the dough that Nana made for us and sent down with Ryan. Yummy- perfect end to our day!!
Rockin' it out! Like John's Christmas outfit?? His shirt has a reindeer on it, Santa unders, and my "cozy" socks. Love you John! |
XXOO, I LOVE ARIZONA!! Don't be surprised if we don't come home! HAHA!
Off to Sedona Next..... :D
